Frontier Village Veterinary Clinic

Thoughtfully Local

Frontier Village Vet Clinic had outgrown their existing space and decided to take on a tenant improvement build out in an existing storefront shell in Lake Stevens, Washington. They wanted the space to reflect the local community of Lake Stevens, and project a more welcoming and thoughtful design.

Outside of the expected challenges when designing a tenant improvement (TI) in a commercial space, a veterinary clinic presents many technical challenges related to animal health care, veterinary procedures, and specialty equipment needs. Designing the space we got creative trying to produce a more dynamic space than your typical vet’s office, and to establish a beautiful environment for people and their pets. At the same time we enjoyed coordinating the equipment needs, navigating the budget and delivering this new work space for the clients.

Project designed and completed while Matthew was an Associate at Hinge Studio.
